How it works

From ZIP code to workable lead in three steps.

Every week, homes change hands in your service area — and the new owner needs cleaning, lawn care, detailing, insurance, and a contractor they don’t have yet. A scan turns those public sales into leads you can work today.

  1. 01

    Pick a ZIP

Type any 5-digit US ZIP you serve. Your first two scans are free — no card, no sales call, no waiting on us.

  2. 02

    We search public records

MoverScan searches public property records for recent home sales in that ZIP and dedupes them into clean new-homeowner leads. Hosted on our servers — nothing to install.

  3. 03

    Work the leads

Owner name, address, sale price, and date. Triage each one, export to CSV, and re-open the ZIP free for the rest of the period.

What a scan returns

One ZIP in. Clean, workable leads out.

Owner, address, sale price, date, and property type — triage each lead, export to CSV, and honor every Do Not Call flag.

Sample data shown. County records lag closings by 30–60 days and are a signal, not a confirmation that someone moved. MoverScan is not a consumer report and is not for FCRA-covered uses (no credit, employment, insurance, or housing decisions). Always honor TCPA and Do-Not-Call rules, and never contact a lead marked “Do Not Call.” This is not legal advice.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What exactly is a “scan”?

One scan = one ZIP search. Pick any 5-digit US ZIP and MoverScan searches public property records for recent home sales there. Every lead carries the new owner’s name, full address, sale price, and sale date. Re-opening a ZIP you’ve already scanned that period is free — it never costs a second scan.

Which ZIP codes can I scan?

Any US ZIP is accepted. Deep records coverage is the Portland, Oregon metro today; national records are rolling out. If a ZIP has limited coverage, we tell you before anything runs — and that scan is not used.

What does it cost?

Your first 2 ZIP scans are free — no card required. After that there is exactly one plan: $17/month for 25 ZIP scans. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from Billing. See the pricing page.

Where does the data come from?

Public property records — county records published as open data — with licensed national property data rolling out on top. Every lead traces back to a source you can name; never a people-search scrape. See exactly where every lead comes from.

How fresh are the leads?

As fresh as the records allow. County records typically lag a closing by 30–60 days, and they are a signal, not a confirmation that someone moved — always verify before relying on a lead.

Is the contact info scraped from people-search sites?

No. There are two lawful ways a phone gets onto a lead: free manual Find contact (live today) opens a lookup in your own browser so you save the number yourself, with an optional Do-Not-Call flag; paid Licensed auto-enrich (rolling out) uses a licensed skip-trace API. MoverScan never auto-scrapes people-search sites.

Can I use this to screen tenants, credit, or employment?

No. The data is not a consumer report and may not be used for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). MoverScan is an outreach tool, not a screening tool.
